June 12, 2008 (Sawf News) Squabbling housemates and The Hills co-stars, Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, made nice Wednesday, June 11, by visiting Crown nightclub together with a friend.

Lauren and Audrina have not been on talking terms for some time now and have studiously maintained a distance when appearing at public events to promote their TV series.

Last week Lauren is reported to have thrown a full blown hissy fit when she returned home to find Audrina, who stays in her guest house, in the midst of a photo shoot for OK! magazine in the backyard of the house. Audrina had not informed Lauren about the photo shoot but had kept Lauren's rep in the picture. The trouble was, Lauren had promised another magazine an exclusive photo shoot of her in the backyard!

The big question now is - Was the visit to the night club yesterday for real or just a PR exercise?

June 12, 2008 (Sawf News) - Fifteen-year-old Demi Lovato charmed in a LBD at the premiere of Disney Channel's made-for-TV musical, Camp Rock on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in New York City.

Texas born actress and singer started acting at the age of six, but Camp Rock is her big break.

She plays, Mitchie Torres, a talented teen singer who wants to become a pop star.

Mitchie gets a chance to attend the prestigious musical camp, Camp Rock but cannot afford the expense. Her mother gets a job as a Camp Rock cook so that Mitchie can attend, as long as she helps out in the kitchen between classes.

Mitchie lives a double life hiding that she is the cook's daughter and posing as a well-to-do camper in order to become part of the hottest clique at camp. She discovers how competitive the campers at Camp Rock truly are while working hard to perfect her musical talent.

She gets her break when she is overheard singing by teen pop star and celebrity camp instructor, plus lead singer of Connect Three, Shane Gray (Joe Jonas). However, before she can step into the spotlight she has to overcome her own fears.

Kevin Jonas plays Jason, the lead guitarist of the band, Connect Three, and Nick Jonas plays Nate, the guitarist and vocalist.

The film airs on The Disney Channel at 8PM ET/PT on Friday, June 20.

Lovato, who is currently recording her debut CD in Miami, Florida, will be opening for the Jonas Brothers on their summer 2008 Burning Up Tour.

The Jonas Brothers have helped her write 11 of her album songs.

June 12, 2008 (Sawf News) - Katee Sackhoff, who plays Captain Kara "Starbuck" Thrace on the Sci Fi Channel's Battlestar Galactica, attended The L.A. Times' The Envelope's Emmy Screening Series Presentation at The Cinerama Dom in Hollywood on Wednesday, June 11.

Katee looked her sensuous self in a strapless pink dress with her hair pulled back.

Other Battlestar ladies present included Mary McDonnell (President Laura Roslin) and Tricia Helfer (Number Six).

Visible in the photo where Katee is seen posing with Cylon, is a cross tattoo on her shoulder, which is covered up with bandages whenever Katee's shoulder is exposed in the TV series because there is no Christianity in the Battlestar Galactica universe!

The tattoo on her right forearm reads "bona fiscalia," meaning "good qualities" (blessings) in legal Latin.

Katee, 28, was born in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Sunset High School in Beaverton in 1998.

June 13, 2008 (Sawf News) - Eva Mendes showed great style in a strapless black gown at the American Film Institute's 36th Life Achievement Award at Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 12, 2008. Warren Beatty was the honoree this year.

She accessorized with nude peep toe heels and had her hair pulled back.

Past honorees include Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood and Elizabeth Taylor.

A dinner ceremony featured highlights from Beatty's four-decade career in entertainment and included tributes by Dustin Hoffman, Halle Berry and Barbra Streisand.
